Job Summary
This PhD Student role involves cutting-edge research at the Institute of Cell Biology (ZMBE) focusing on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of vascular and lymphatic control over gonad development. The successful candidate will primarily utilize zebrafish as a vertebrate model, applying advanced methodologies including in vivo imaging, CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, and single-cell transcriptomics. Optional work with human iPSC-derived gonadal organoids may also be involved. Key requirements include a Master’s degree in life sciences (Biology, Biomedicine) and strong English communication skills essential for documentation and publication.
