Job Summary

This opportunity involves conducting high-level, interdisciplinary experimental research within the RTG 2989, focused on 'Targeting cellular interfaces in Reperfused Acute Myocardial Infarction (TCI repAMI).' Successful candidates will execute basic and translational cardiovascular research projects, working in a stimulating, internationally-oriented academic environment across the University Hospital Essen and the Leibniz Institute for Analytical Sciences (ISAS) in Dortmund. Day-to-day tasks include performing complex experimental procedures, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills, and actively engaging in cross-disciplinary collaboration. The role requires a strong Diploma or Master's degree in experimental life sciences or (bio)medicine and a high commitment to the research topic.   • Experience working with laboratory animals may be obligatory (depending on the specific project)
