Job Summary

This role involves specialized procurement of IT products and services, including hardware, software, cloud services, and general IT services, often within complex IT projects. The specialist will analyze procurement needs, advise departments on strategy, and ensure compliance with economic, sustainability, and public procurement law. A core responsibility is coordinating EU-wide tenders and national procurement procedures, which includes drafting complex tender documents, negotiating contracts (especially EVB-IT agreements), and managing vendor relationships. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business Administration, Administrative Sciences, or Business Informatics, and possesses proven experience in IT procurement, contract negotiation, and public procurement law (UVgO, VGV, GWB). Success requires strong self-organization, stress resistance, and fluent German and good English skills, coupled with commercial and technical understanding.
