Job Summary

This role as a Program Advisor within the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation focuses on managing and administering crucial protective programs like the Philipp Schwartz Initiative (PSI) and MSCA4Ukraine, which support academic freedom and threatened researchers globally. Day-to-day responsibilities include comprehensive program advising, meticulously reviewing and preparing application documentation for the PSI, organizing and executing selection procedures, and ensuring the proper implementation of funding decisions, including verification of expenditure reports. The ideal candidate holds at least a Bachelor's degree and brings relevant professional experience in administration within international scientific or cultural institutions, or the public sector. Essential qualifications include familiarity with digital working methods and prior study experience abroad.
