Job Summary

This role involves working as an Engineer or Junior Expert within the Products division at TÜV Rheinland, focusing on ensuring the safety and compliance of cosmetic, washing, cleaning, and detergent products in international markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include determining testing requirements, developing comprehensive testing programs and plans, and executing technical assessments. You will be responsible for creating detailed test reports, evaluating results, and staying current with evolving national and international directives and standards relevant to these product groups. A crucial part of the role is customer interaction, where you will provide expert guidance and communicate complex testing results to clients. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Food Chemistry or a comparable field of Chemistry, possesses strong analytical skills, and is comfortable acting as an external speaker or consultant on specialized topics. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring fluent German and good English skills.
