Job Summary

This critical role involves managing the implementation and maintenance of extra-high voltage cable routes in Berlin, contributing directly to the energy supply for over 18 million people and supporting Germany's energy transition goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in planning, coordinating external service providers and site supervisors, conducting regular inspections, and ensuring the prompt rectification of defects, often within a standby system. A core function is ensuring strict adherence to all safety, environmental, and legal regulations, including coordinating necessary system shutdowns and authorizing work sites. The successful candidate will verify documentation, assist with billing, and may supervise trainees. The ideal candidate holds a Master Craftsman or Technician qualification in Electrical or Energy Technology, possesses professional experience in medium or high-voltage technology, and demonstrates strong organizational skills and assertiveness. This position requires excellent German proficiency (C1) and a willingness to travel within the Berlin area.
