Job Summary

This role is for a Senior Professional Full-Stack System Engineer within the Application Security Competence Center (ASCC) of a major German public IT service provider. The primary focus is on enhancing and protecting the security of critical IT applications and software solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include the planning, administration, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure, proactive identification and remediation of security vulnerabilities, and the development and implementation of security policies and tools. The engineer will also be involved in full-stack development tasks, including implementing and debugging software using Spring Frameworks, Angular/Typescript, Python, and Java, while working with Oracle and Postgres databases. This position offers the flexibility of up to 80% remote work and is crucial for ensuring the highest security standards across one of Germany's largest IT landscapes.
