Job Summary

This is a key leadership role at one of the world's leading water institutes, focusing on shaping the future of sustainable water supply. The successful candidate will strategically and professionally lead the Water Chemistry department, managing over 80 scientific and technical staff. Day-to-day responsibilities include advancing the research area and the water chemistry laboratory, acquiring new analytical services and research projects, and ensuring high technical quality and client satisfaction. The role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and responsibility for resource planning, budget control, and representing the institute in expert committees through presentations and publications. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Chemistry, preferably a PhD, and possesses deep expertise in water chemistry and chemical analytics, coupled with excellent communication, negotiation skills, and an affinity for digital transformation processes.
