Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the functional capability of information technology for the North Rhine-Westphalian Police, contributing directly to internal security. As the 'First Point of Contact' within the 24/7 IT Control Center, you will primarily handle the acceptance and initial investigation of IT disruption reports that cannot be resolved locally by police authorities. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring the statewide mobile and stationary ICT environment, performing 1st-Level support for rapid fault clearance (including mobile devices and applications), and supporting police authorities with technical and professional questions regarding the police case processing system (ViVA/mViVA). Candidates must possess a degree in IT/Communications Technology or equivalent vocational training combined with significant relevant professional experience.
