Job Summary

The Deutsche Bundesbank is seeking an IT Security Architect to play a pivotal role in securing the IT landscape for banking and financial supervision, integral to the European System of Central Banks. This permanent position involves developing specific regulations and frameworks for IT security, implementing the IT Cyber Security Strategy, and actively promoting digitalization and innovation within the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM). Day-to-day tasks include overseeing and optimizing the overall IT system architecture, defining platform strategies, and managing IT architecture projects from conception through maintenance. The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, possesses excellent knowledge of IT security technologies, application development (especially Java web platforms), and familiarity with international and national regulatory frameworks like DORA, BAIT, and MaRisk. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in (Business) Computer Science or a study program with an information technology focus

Experience

  • Practical experience in IT security, architecture management, and regulatory compliance is desirable
