This position offers a Doctoral Candidate the opportunity to join the Organic Chemistry working group at Philipps University Marburg, focusing on cutting-edge research in total synthesis. The role involves providing scientific services in research and teaching, specifically supporting student instruction in organic chemistry practicals and tutorials. A primary research focus will be the total synthesis of Echinoflorin A under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Ulrich Koert. This is a part-time (50%) position, initially limited to three years, offering significant scope for independent scientific work and professional qualification (Ph.D.). Candidates must possess a university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Chemistry, demonstrable knowledge of Organic Chemistry, and specific experience in the stereoselective synthesis of pyridine alkaloids.
