Job Summary

This role involves driving the expansion and networking of modern communication infrastructures across the Elia Group's extensive IT landscape, spanning hundreds of locations in Belgium and Germany, including data centers, offices, and offshore platforms. The Project Engineer will be a key member of the Datacom team, specializing in the design, installation, configuration, and integration of new systems into the existing IP network. Daily responsibilities include the procurement and commissioning of network components, meticulous planning, quality control of network integration tasks, and ensuring strict adherence to group standards regarding IT security, automation, and monitoring. Candidates must possess a degree or vocational training in Computer Science or Communications Engineering, coupled with profound experience in planning and integrating IP networks within high-availability enterprise environments. This position offers continuous professional growth and requires participation in on-call duty.
