Job Summary

The City of Hamm is seeking a dedicated Specialist for Budget Planning and Controlling to join the Department of Integration, Foreigners, and Refugee Affairs. This part-time role (19.5 hours/week) involves critical financial management tasks, including preparing the annual budget plan, overseeing its execution, and ensuring timely clarification of inquiries from the city treasury. Key responsibilities also encompass coordinating year-end closing activities, developing and managing the reporting system using specific departmental procedures, and serving as a central controlling interface. Candidates must possess deep knowledge of budget law, strong conceptual and strategic thinking abilities, and proficiency in standard office software and SAP (or the willingness to rapidly acquire it). Required Skills

Education

Required: Qualification for the first entry level of career group 2 of the general administrative service in NRW (former higher service), OR qualification as an Administrative Specialist (AII/VL II), OR a completed degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Controlling, or a comparable course of study.
