Job Summary
This role is for a Systems Engineer specializing in the development and integration of advanced braking systems for demonstration vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end engineering process, including analyzing customer requirements, monitoring market trends, and designing comprehensive physical and functional architectures, incorporating safety, display, and operational concepts. Key responsibilities involve project planning, coordinating internal and external development teams, managing daily tasks, and conducting structured bottom-up fault analyses during the integration phase. Essential qualifications include a degree in Mechatronics or a related field, mandatory experience in model-based development using Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow, and proficiency in JAVA and Python programming. This position offers an opportunity to drive innovation in vehicle technology within a major engineering service provider, requiring fluent communication skills in both German and English.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Mechatronics, Embedded Systems, Vehicle Engineering, or comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in model-based development using Matlab, Simulink, and Stateflow
- Professional experience with programming in JAVA and Python
- Professional experience using requirements management tools (DOORS, DNG, System Composer)
- Experience with vehicle instrumentation (advantageous)
