As a Development Engineer for Occupant Restraint Systems, you will play a pivotal role in steering the component development cycles for safety systems within the automotive sector. Your daily responsibilities include managing the technical development of suppliers, drafting technical specifications (Lastenhefte) in accordance with current legal standards, and overseeing the procurement of parts. You will be deeply involved in test management, ranging from defining test requirements to evaluating results and coordinating with external engineering service providers. Required Skills

  • Experience in steering component development and supplier management within engineering cycles
  • Experience in testing, commissioning, and safeguarding electronic systems and components in vehicles
  • Experience in creating and maintaining test specifications and coordinating external service providers
