Job Summary

This role is for an IT Vocational Trainer based in Dresden, supporting individuals recovering from psychological illnesses to successfully re-enter the workforce. This is a temporary, part-time position (30-35 hours per week) covering a sickness absence. You will provide hands-on instruction in typical IT tasks, including databases, hardware, and software, helping participants achieve professional orientation. A key responsibility involves using your cross-industry knowledge to support participants in transitioning to employment, apprenticeships, or retraining. This requires proactively building and maintaining a network of corporate contacts to generate placement opportunities. Candidates must hold a completed qualification as an IT Specialist (e.g., Application Developer, IT Sales Management Assistant) or a comparable university degree. Familiarity with the needs of psychologically ill individuals and strong knowledge of current labor market conditions and training pathways are essential for success in this meaningful and impactful role.

Required Skills

Experience
