Job Summary

This critical role involves actively shaping information security within the clinical operations of the Vienna Health Association, focusing on central IT services and electronic patient records. The specialist will develop and implement security strategies for clinical applications, conduct risk and protection needs analyses, and derive concrete measures from legal security requirements, particularly the Network and Information Systems Security Act (NISG). Key responsibilities include managing services related to electronic patient files, defining service strategies, negotiating Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and ensuring data security through policy enforcement and training. The ideal candidate possesses significant experience in IT service management, strong knowledge of ISMS and risk management, and the ability to communicate complex security topics effectively to various stakeholders, contributing significantly to the stability and quality of critical IT services.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science or equivalent field (Informatiker/in (Hochschule))

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience as an application or service manager
  • Experience focusing on the alignment, development, and consolidation of IT services in line with corporate and digitalization strategies
  • Professional experience in representing the organization in internal and external security committees
