Job Summary

As a key member of the Service Management Office at Wien Digital, you will take primary responsibility for the city's IT service portfolio and collaborate on the development of the service catalog management system. Your daily activities will involve implementing processes and methods to ensure the strategic and economic sustainability of the service offering, as well as coordinating cross-service group topics. You will act as a consultant for service owners, helping them define and classify new ICT services while developing data models for the Business Service Catalog within ITSM tools. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys bridging the gap between technical data modeling and stakeholder communication. The position offers a high degree of flexibility with up to 60% remote work, no core office hours, and a stable public sector contract with the City of Vienna, including extensive health programs and professional development opportunities.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science (Informatik) or a related field; ITIL Foundation Certification (minimum).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in IT Service Management (ITSM)
  • Specific experience in Service Portfolio Management and Service Catalog Management
  • Experience in consulting and supporting service owners with service classification
  • Proven experience in communication and collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders
