Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer focused on the practical implementation and application management of data-driven reporting and planning solutions, particularly within the domains of HR and Finance data for the City of Vienna's administration. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing logical and physical data models for both SQL Server and Oracle Data Warehouse databases, and independently creating and maintaining Cubes, In-Memory OLAP Tabular Models, and Data Marts using Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS). The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and maintenance of DWH and Business Intelligence (BI) applications, requiring several years of professional experience in DWH and ETL development, profound knowledge of relational database architecture (MS SQL Server), and proficiency with ETL tools such as Microsoft Integration Services. Good German language skills (at least B2 level) are required for this permanent, full-time position.
