Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled PLC Specialist to manage complex control technology challenges, focusing on the development, programming, and optimization of automation systems for major clients, particularly within the automotive sector. Key responsibilities include creating PLC programs and operator interfaces (HMI/SCADA), conducting thorough program tests, ensuring successful system commissioning, and stabilizing processes during product ramp-up. You will also be responsible for coordinating and implementing cutting-edge Industry 4.0 projects and optimizing plant quality and cycle times. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics, or an equivalent Master/Technician qualification. Crucial technical expertise includes very strong knowledge in PLC programming, bus systems, drive technology, and safety systems, combined with initial practical experience in automating assembly lines or special machine construction.
