Join a leading Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) focused on biopharmaceuticals, contributing to the global availability of essential medicines through a critical 2-year contract role in Cell Line Development. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the independent preparation, execution, and meticulous documentation of cell biological tasks, specifically focusing on generating and characterizing recombinant CHO cell lines. This includes essential activities like cell cultivation, single-cell cloning, in-process analytics, and recombinant protein expression. A strong background in molecular biology methods, such as qPCR and nucleic acid isolation, is highly desirable and allows for participation in related projects. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve creating and reviewing critical laboratory documents (SOPs), ensuring equipment functionality, maintaining lab organization, and contributing innovative ideas for process optimization. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Biological/Biotechnological Technical Assistant and possesses multi-year professional experience in cell biology, coupled with strong written and spoken German and English skills, and a willingness to work weekends.
