Job Summary

This role involves acting as a Certified Expert Inspector for Acceptance Testing within Signaling and Control Technology (LST) for railway infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the inspection team, conducting acceptance tests, and assessing LST systems to ensure compliance with legal and technical regulations, including standards like EBO. You will be responsible for reviewing the usability of systems and components, verifying the authorized use of approved hardware and software parts, and generating official inspection reports and expert opinions. A key aspect of the role is continuous professional development across various technologies, from legacy systems (e.g., SpDr S 60) to modern systems (ESTW, DSTW, ETCS). This position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, official recognition as an expert inspector by the Federal Railway Authority (EBA), and a commitment to quality assurance and mentoring junior planning and project engineers.
