Job Summary
This role seeks a highly motivated and independent Postdoctoral Researcher to join an international team focused on translational cancer research, starting January 1, 2026. The successful candidate will lead their own research project, taking full responsibility for design, execution, and dissemination of results. Day-to-day tasks involve managing laboratory operations, developing and applying advanced ex vivo models like organoids and 3D cell cultures, and analyzing human samples. The position also offers significant opportunities for professional growth through supervising MD, PhD, and Master’s students, managing resources, and contributing to high-impact research with strong clinical relevance. Candidates must hold a PhD in biomedical sciences or a related field and possess a strong background in advanced cell culture methods.
Required Skills
Education
PhD (or equivalent) in biomedical sciences, molecular biology, cancer biology, or a related discipline
Experience
- Professional experience in translational research
- Experience with ex vivo systems (organoids, 3D culture, human samples)
- Experience in animal research (desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and drive projects forward
