Job Summary
The Aachen branch of the Bau- und Liegenschaftsbetrieb (BLB NRW) is seeking a Building Services Engineer to manage federal construction projects at the Nörvenich site. This role involves working within interdisciplinary construction project teams, focusing on technical building equipment (TGA) and building services engineering. Day-to-day tasks include steering, quality assurance, and performance review of external engineering offices and contractors, contributing to planning services (HOAI), and providing expert construction advice to department leadership. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in implementing climate-neutral initiatives for the state's real estate portfolio. This position offers a secure, permanent contract, flexible working hours (6:00 AM – 8:00 PM), and the possibility of mobile work up to 60% per week across Germany, making it an attractive opportunity for professionals dedicated to sustainable and complex public sector construction.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) in Energy and Building Technology, Building Services Engineering, Technical Building Equipment, or comparable engineering discipline; or state-certified Technician/Master qualification in relevant field.
Experience
- Successfully completed university degree (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) in Energy and Building Technology, Building Services Engineering, Technical Building Equipment, or a comparable engineering discipline
- Alternatively, successful completion as a state-certified Technician or Master in one of the above fields, followed by at least six years of professional experience in an engineering-like capacity
- Ideally, several years of professional experience in the real estate industry
- Experience in managing and steering external engineering offices and contractors

- Willingness and ability to drive an official company vehicle; willingness to undergo a security clearance (Ü 1 to Ü 3) according to the Security Clearance Act NRW.
