Job Summary

The Stuttgart public transport company (SSB) is seeking an Overhead Contact Line System Planner to join the Electrical Systems department within Technical Infrastructure. This role involves comprehensive planning and structural analysis for overhead contact line systems, including managing small-scale projects for the maintenance division. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating CAD plans, drafting specifications and tenders, performing static calculations, and dimensioning mast foundations. The planner will also support construction management on-site, conduct quality and schedule controls, and participate in invoice verification, cost calculation, and monitoring, including profitability analysis. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Mechatronics, coupled with initial practical experience, ideally in overhead contact line construction and proficiency with relevant software tools. This position requires a precise working style, reliability, strong teamwork skills, and readiness for night work and on-call duty.
