Job Summary

This is a key leadership position within the Gütersloh District administration, where the Head of Finance Department will manage a team of 22 employees across two sub-sections. The core responsibilities involve organizing and executing the entire district budget process, overseeing financial reporting, and representing the budget in dealings with local cities and municipalities according to § 55 of the District Code NRW. Furthermore, the role requires active participation in the digital transformation of the financial sector, serving as the central interface for internal/external auditing, and developing the district’s Tax Compliance Management System.
