Job Summary

This role is a crucial part-time (19.5 hours/week) position focused on driving digital transformation within the Youth Department of the Gütersloh District Administration. The Digitalization Officer acts as the primary contact and project coordinator for all EDV and digitalization initiatives, ensuring projects are goal-oriented and delivered on time. Key responsibilities include managing internal digitalization projects, coordinating with external partners, and implementing new modules in specialized applications like LogoData, ensuring seamless integration with the d.3 DMS system. The ideal candidate will also develop and lead training sessions, create operational guidelines, and optimize workflows through process management. A strong affinity for digital change and relevant administrative or IT qualifications are essential for success in this demanding yet rewarding 24-month fixed-term contract.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in non-technical higher administrative service, Administrative Course II, or comparable qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Laws, Bachelor in Organizational Development or Business Informatics)

Experience

  • Professional experience in initiating and coordinating digitalization projects (desirable)
  • Experience in the implementation of new software modules and interfaces
  • Experience in developing and conducting training sessions
