Job Summary

This role is central to shaping the digital future within the Federal Office of Information Technology (BIT), focusing specifically on the engineering, operation, and continuous development of modern Enterprise Architecture and ITSM applications like Archimap and Remedy. As an IT Business Analyst/Consultant, you will analyze complex business processes, transactions, data structures, and functions within the ITSM Remedy environment to identify optimization potential and deliver genuine added value. A key focus is defining future-oriented requirements for evolving ICT solutions on the Remedy platform, ensuring security, functionality, quality, and economic efficiency are integrated into sustainable solutions. You will develop robust decision bases for implementing innovative ITSM processes and functions, evaluating the economic viability of complex ICT solutions. This position requires a university degree in Informatics or Business Informatics, deep understanding of IT Service Management, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in ITIL methodologies. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Informatics or Business Informatics, or equivalent basic training.

Experience

  • University degree in Informatics or Business Informatics, or comparable basic training with several years of professional experience in the IT Service Management environment.
  • Professional experience in structuring complex IT facts, analyzing them, and developing compelling customer solutions for the ITSM platform.
  • Deep understanding of IT Service Management combined with broad technological knowledge.
