Job Summary

This role involves managing and coordinating the crucial Service Transition phase for numerous software components and specialized IT procedures used in tax collection across Germany (KONSENS-Verbund). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the continuous process of piloting and deploying finalized software to tax offices, ensuring smooth and coordinated implementation. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating the productive deployment of IT procedures, actively participating in ITIL-oriented processes—especially Release, Change, Incident, and Problem Management—and managing IT projects and assignments. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in IT-related fields (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) or Economics, or equivalent professional experience. The position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to moderate and document meetings, and excellent written and verbal German communication skills (C1 level minimum). Required Skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent diploma) in IT studies (Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology) or Economics; alternatively, comparable knowledge and skills acquired through vocational training and relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Practical experience in Project Management (desirable)
  • Fundamental knowledge and practical handling of ITIL processes, especially in the Transition phase (desirable)
  • Professional experience demonstrating comparable knowledge and skills (alternative to degree)
