Job Summary

This role involves developing and optimizing automation solutions for advanced laser processing, handling, and testing tasks, and overseeing their implementation. The PLC Programmer will contribute to the conceptualization and development of new automation strategies, assist in planning and creating circuit diagrams using CAE systems like AutoCAD Electrical, and integrate components into existing manufacturing automation systems, including parts handling, image processing, and robotics. Working closely with manufacturing technologists, the role also includes testing innovative components for laser processing, such as beam sources and processing heads. Candidates should possess a background in electrical engineering, automation technology, PLC technology, or mechatronics, coupled with strong knowledge of drive technology, measurement and control engineering (MCR), sensor technology, and signal processing. This position offers a flexible workflow with flextime and no shifts or field service, working within a highly innovative, team-oriented environment focused on cutting-edge laser technology.
