Job Summary

This role involves shaping the future of laser technology by developing and optimizing automation solutions for laser processing, handling, and testing tasks. The PLC Programmer will be responsible for realizing the setup of these systems and supporting the team in the new and continued development of automation concepts. Key daily activities include assisting with the planning and creation of circuit diagrams using CAE systems like AutoCAD Electrical, and integrating assemblies into existing systems for manufacturing automation, covering part handling, image processing, and robotics. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical, automation, PLC, or mechatronics engineering, coupled with solid expertise in drive technology, MSR technology (measurement, control, and regulation), sensor technology, and signal processing. This position offers the chance to work on innovative laser technology at the limits of feasibility within a flexible, supportive, and impactful medium-sized company environment.
