Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated PLC Programmer to join a pioneering team focused on advancing high-tech laser processing and manufacturing automation. The primary mission involves developing, optimizing, and implementing automation solutions for laser processing, handling, and testing applications. Day-to-day tasks include supporting the conceptual development of new automation strategies, assisting in the planning and creation of circuit diagrams using CAE systems like AutoCAD Electrical, and integrating complex assemblies, including robotics and image processing components, into existing production systems. You will also collaborate with manufacturing technologists to test innovative components such as beam sources and processing heads. The ideal candidate must possess a strong foundation from vocational training or a degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics, coupled with solid expertise in PLC programming and MSR technology. This position offers a highly flexible workflow, including flextime, no shifts or field service, and the opportunity to make a significant impact in a medium-sized enterprise pushing the limits of laser technology.
