Job Summary
This role involves executing microbiological testing of active ingredients and medicinal products within a regulated environment in Mainz, Germany. The Operator will be responsible for performing microbial monitoring counts, including trending analysis, and managing equipment responsibilities. A key part of the job is documenting all results strictly according to GMP guidelines and supporting practical work related to equipment qualification and method validation. Candidates must possess a completed relevant laboratory apprenticeship (e.g., Biology or Chemistry Laboratory Technician) or a Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a comparable field. Essential requirements include strong practical experience in microbiology and familiarity with GMP regulations. The position requires willingness to work in a 2-shift system (early and late shifts) from Monday to Friday, excellent German language skills, and a high degree of responsibility and independent work ethic. This is a full-time, 2-year fixed-term contract.
