Job Summary

This role is for a dedicated Biological Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist to join the Institute for Physiological Chemistry and Pathobiochemistry at a leading German Medical Faculty. The professional will be integral to cutting-edge scientific research, focusing on advanced laboratory techniques. Key daily responsibilities include the cultivation of primary cells and hybridoma, genotyping transgenic mice, preparing tissue sections, and utilizing advanced microscopy methods such as immunofluorescence and confocal microscopy. The position requires a high degree of flexibility, research interest, and the ability to independently execute complex experiments while maintaining careful documentation. The ideal candidate possesses completed BTA or MTA training, strong IT and English skills, and a collaborative spirit.
