Job Summary

As a Specialist System Engineer, you will join a highly specialized agile team to design and enhance the Intranet Container Platform (ICP) for the German Federal Employment Agency. This critical platform, based on Kubernetes (K8s), serves as the strategic operating environment for all internal processes. Your daily tasks will involve expanding K8s clusters with essential features like interconnectivity (Service Mesh, Loadbalancer), observability (Logging, Monitoring, Tracing), DevOps (GitOps, Operators), and security. You will also be responsible for the planning, administration, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructures, analyzing system requirements, and ensuring system availability and security.
