Job Summary

This role is for a Specialist System Engineer within the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) Center of Excellence (CoE) for one of Germany's largest IT landscapes, operating the IT systems for the Federal Employment Agency. The Specialist will be instrumental in expanding established IT Service Management (ITSM) structures to other business areas, utilizing the strategic ServiceNow platform for centralized and standardized service delivery. Day-to-day tasks involve planning, managing, and maintaining IT systems and infrastructure, analyzing requirements, designing solutions in collaboration with a Solution Architect, and ensuring system availability and security. The team operates using agile methodologies, specifically Scrum, supported by JIRA. Candidates should possess a university degree or equivalent, professional experience, deep knowledge of ServiceNow, and expertise in agile methods and ITIL processes. This position offers significant flexibility, allowing up to 80% remote work, and is crucial for driving the organization's digital transformation and automation efforts.
