Job Summary

This critical role within the Cyber Agency focuses on driving technological sovereignty by funding high-risk research in security and defense. The Advisor acts as the central interface between the agency, the Bundeswehr's innovation units, and the private sector ecosystem, particularly the security/defense industry and the start-up scene. Day-to-day activities involve building and expanding robust networks with SMEs, investors, and start-ups, coordinating collaboration at the Bundeswehr Innovation Center in Erding, and identifying new innovation needs for the agency's research teams. A significant part of the job includes planning, organizing, and moderating high-level events, workshops, and challenges with partners from industry and government authorities. This position requires a Master's degree and proven expertise in the defense and security innovation landscape, offering a unique opportunity to shape Germany's future technological capabilities.

Required Skills

Education

Completed scientific university degree (Master or Diploma) in a relevant field

Experience

  • Experience in the Security & Defense innovation ecosystem (industry, associations like Bitkom or BDSV, or the innovation ecosystem of the BMVg or BMI)
  • Experience in building and maintaining sustainable networks

Additional
