Job Summary

This role involves working as an MLOps Engineer within a fast-paced logistics and e-commerce environment, focusing on developing and maintaining robust, scalable Machine Learning infrastructure. The successful candidate will collaborate with software engineering teams to secure and continuously evaluate prediction and classification models used for critical logistical systems, such as tour planning and capacity control. Key responsibilities include designing and training ML models, building ETL pipelines for event-based data systems, and preparing data for analysis and training. The role requires strong professional experience (at least four years) in Data Science or Machine Learning, coupled with expertise in MLOps tools like Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as Azure. Fluency in both German and English is required, along with solid software engineering skills to produce maintainable, production-ready code that drives real business impact.
