Job Summary

This role as a Production Planner focuses on the meticulous preparation and optimization of manufacturing processes for turbines, generators, and large special electrical machinery at the Siemens Energy plant in Mülheim an der Ruhr. Day-to-day responsibilities involve developing suitable process flows for new manufacturing, defining necessary resources (tools, aids) while adhering to technical, economic, and safety standards, and managing master data and order creation within the PLM system. A critical component of the role is product cost calculation and leading improvement projects to ensure process and product cost optimization (Design to Cost). Success requires a completed technical degree or equivalent certification in Electrical Engineering, coupled with professional experience in mechanical engineering or robust production planning, and proficiency in SAP. This position offers a varied and challenging environment, requiring high initiative and close collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams, contributing directly to the company's competitive edge in the energy transition.
