Day-to-day responsibilities focus on the scientific curation and development of the Myriapoda collection, conducting collection-based research on the taxonomy, biology, or ecology of Myriapoda, and publishing results in high-ranking international journals. The ideal candidate holds a doctoral degree in zoology or a related field, possesses excellent knowledge of integrative taxonomy and systematics of Myriapoda, and has a strong research record documented by publications. They must also have experience acquiring third-party funding, managing projects, and guiding staff.
