Job Summary

This is a strategic leadership opportunity for a visionary Head of Controls Engineering to join a leading, system-relevant industrial automation company in Germany (Heilbronn) or Europe. The role involves building and leading the Controls Engineering department, overseeing five teams comprising approximately 40 employees, with a strong focus on growth and strategic expansion. Key responsibilities include expanding the product portfolio across Robotics, IoT, and Controls Technology, ensuring high quality standards and functional safety, and managing resources, budgets, and capacity planning. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering and possesses extensive experience leading teams in controls technology, coupled with expertise in emulation, virtual commissioning, and IoT integration.
