Job Summary

As a Development Engineer for Control Units and Components, you will play a pivotal role in advancing automotive technology for major OEMs and suppliers. Your daily responsibilities involve developing and testing communication software specifically for battery-electric control units. You will be tasked with designing and managing continuous testing strategies within Software-in-the-Loop (SiL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) environments to ensure software verification aligns with industry standards like Automotive SPICE and ISTQB. This role requires close interdisciplinary collaboration with both internal teams and international development partners. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Technical Computer Science, Communication Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in vehicle and control unit networking including FlexRay, Ethernet, CAN FD, and LIN
  • Practical experience in software development using C/C++ and Python
  • Experience in creating and implementing test cases and test plans in SiL/HiL environments
  • Experience working with development tools such as CANoe, PREEvision, GitLab, and Jira
  • Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration with international development partners
