Job Summary

As a PLC Programmer and Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in transforming technological visions into reality by developing and implementing comprehensive control software. Your day-to-day responsibilities include clarifying and implementing interfaces for material flow computers, developing PLC software within the TIA Portal, and designing operator panels in collaboration with mechanical and electrical design teams. You will be responsible for configuring automation components and integrating them into control systems. A significant portion of the role involves conducting tests and commissioning machinery both at the factory and on-site at customer locations, followed by supporting plant ramp-ups and conducting performance tests. To ensure long-term success, you will also provide training to customer personnel on safe and efficient plant operation. This position is particularly attractive due to its permanent contract structure, 35-hour work week, and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation technologies like robotics and complex material flow systems across Germany and Europe.
