Job Summary

This role involves serving as an Educational Technology Coach within the Center for Teaching and Learning (ZeLL) at Saarland University. The core mission is to design, implement, and promote professional development programs in eLearning and Student Lifecycle Management for university staff and students. Day-to-day tasks include acting as a key interface between technical facilities and administrative units, conducting needs assessments, and developing innovative training concepts utilizing platforms like Moodle, MS 365, and SAP-SLCM. A critical component is the educationally sound technical development and refinement of the Moodle platform, including creating new templates. The ideal candidate possesses a Master's degree in a relevant technical or pedagogical field, strong technical affinity beyond basic user skills, and proven expertise in didactics and adult education. Required Skills

Education

Minimum Master's degree in a scientific field, preferably Computer Science, Media Pedagogy, Instructional Design, or Educational Technology.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the conception, further development, and revision of teaching/learning environments and digital tools.
  • Experience in target-group oriented communication and marketing, particularly concerning participant recruitment.
  • Professional experience in educational technology or media pedagogy roles.
