Job Summary
This role involves the independent planning, execution, and evaluation of development work within the Point-of-Care (PoC) environment. The Planning and Development Engineer will be responsible for systemic device characterizations and statistical evaluations, including creating testing, manufacturing, and inspection specifications, as well as developing evaluation macros. A core part of the job includes data analysis, comprehensive documentation of experimental results, and generating detailed development reports. The successful candidate must hold a technical or scientific degree (Bachelor or Master) in fields like Chemistry, Biology, or Medical Technology. Strong proficiency in German and good working knowledge of English are essential for international coordination and document review. Experience in developing PoC diagnostic systems, particularly urine systems, is beneficial, alongside excellent user skills in standard office software like Excel and Word.
