As an Automation and Mechatronics Technician, you will be responsible for the continuous improvement, analysis, and optimization of complex production and packaging systems. Your daily activities include systematic troubleshooting and fault rectification of PLC-controlled machinery (specifically Beckhoff systems), electronic components, and camera systems. You will perform installations, commissioning, and system tests for plant modifications while ensuring all maintenance activities are documented according to strict GMP and FDA standards. This role requires close coordination with machine operators and production managers to implement sustainable technical solutions. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed advanced training as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister) specializing in Automation, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the maintenance, repair, and optimization of assembly and packaging systems
  • Extensive experience in technical troubleshooting and fault analysis of automated machinery
  • Proven experience working with Beckhoff PLC systems and measurement technology
  • Experience working within regulated environments following GMP and FDA documentation standards
