Job Summary

This Safety Engineer role is crucial for ensuring a safe working environment within a production setting. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the implementation of occupational safety measures across production plants and buildings, rigorous monitoring of safety regulations, and compliance with all relevant legal requirements concerning occupational health and equipment safety. A core function is conducting comprehensive risk analyses and hazard assessments, alongside planning and executing EHS training for all staff levels. Furthermore, the role involves emergency management responsibilities (including weekly on-call duty) and accident investigation to implement corrective safety improvements. Candidates must possess a completed technical degree or equivalent technical qualification, coupled with the qualification as an Occupational Safety Specialist (or the readiness to achieve it promptly). Success in this position requires strong communication skills and fluency in both German and English, ideally supplemented by several years of experience in a production environment.
