Job Summary

This permanent, full-time position in Chemnitz, Saxony, requires a Civil Engineer to manage complex planning projects for new construction, modifications, expansions, and maintenance of engineering structures, such as bridges and tunnels. Daily responsibilities include performing object and structural design across preliminary, draft, and approval planning stages, coordinating technical efforts with specialized planners (e.g., road construction and environmental), and managing the procurement and settlement of contracts for freelance engineering services below the EU threshold. The role also involves processing supplementary claims, assisting with budget planning, and preparing official agreements. Candidates must hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, preferably specializing in Structural Engineering, and demonstrate C1 level fluency in German. Required Skills
