Job Summary

This role as an IT System Engineer focuses on supporting and optimizing the highly secure military IT infrastructure for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Operating within the Shared Service Delivery – Central Operations unit, you will be crucial in ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT services, often dealing with data classified higher than VS-NfD (Confidential). Day-to-day responsibilities include the monitoring and maintenance of deployed server systems, implementing operational stabilization and optimization measures, and ensuring the quality-assured transfer of new solutions into production environments. You will also collaborate closely with architecture and product teams to integrate operational aspects and provide 3rd Level Support for complex error analysis and problem management. Candidates should bring approximately three years of relevant professional experience, a background in IT operations, and specific domain knowledge in areas like Active Directory, Windows Server 2016, and network topology.
