Job Summary

As the Lead IT Architect for Active Directory, you will play a pivotal role in securing and modernizing the digital infrastructure for the German Armed Forces (Bundeswehr). Operating within the Platform Technologies division, you will be responsible for the end-to-end service architecture, from defining strategic roadmaps to developing detailed security concepts and emergency protocols. Your daily work involves designing complex on-premise platforms, conducting Proof of Concepts (POCs), and advising projects on customer-specific requirements. A core focus will be enhancing efficiency through automation and implementing advanced security measures such as Red Forest (ESAE) architectures. Required Skills

Education

Completed subject-related university degree or equivalent professional qualification.

Experience

  • Approximately 6 years of subject-related professional experience
  • Long-term experience with Active Directory in large, complex enterprise environments
  • Extensive experience in creating architectural and security concepts
  • Professional experience in implementing design-based security measures such as Red Forest (ESAE)
  • Experience in requirements consulting and developing solution proposals for large-scale projects
